BlazeAid is a volunteer-based organisation that works with families and individuals in rural Australia after natural disasters such as fires and floods. Working alongside the rural families, volunteers help to rebuild fences and other structures that have been damaged or destroyed. The organisation has set up a camp at Bungendore showground to assist the rural community of Tarago to rebuild fences and other structures that have been damaged or destroyed by the recent Currandooley fire.
The Bungendore Showground Trust has been pleased to donate six and half weeks of camping including use of the grounds dining hall, kitchen and pavilion to assist coordinators and volunteers to repair damage caused by the recent Currandooley fire in the Tarago area.
The Bungendore Showground Trust is proud to assist BlazeAid’s coordinators and volunteers with the valuable work being undertaken by them to repair the damage caused by the Currandooley fire.
